Reporting

Reports and moderation actions support platform integrity, venue trust, and user safety.

01Privacy by default

Profile and activity visibility should match user intent.

SyncUp's policies describe public, private, friends-only, custom, and invitee-only visibility expectations. Email address, date of birth, gender, home address, ZIP code, saved home or discovery coordinates, account identifiers, and security logs are treated as private or operational data.

Five standards for real-world nights.

Safety on SyncUp is practical: age boundaries, consent, reporting, venue authenticity, and a clear emergency line.

  • 01

    Adults 21+ only

SyncUp is built for adults who are at least 21 years old. Users may not involve minors in SyncUp activity, unsafe nightlife contexts, alcohol-related activity, or venue plans.

  • 02

    Location and visibility controls

Check-ins, plans, friend activity, and venue presence should match user intent. Users control visibility settings and should not share another person's location, check-in, or plan without consent.

  • 03

    Reports and moderation

Users can report profiles, events, plans, comments, messages, check-ins, and other content in the app. SyncUp may review reports, investigate abuse, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or ban accounts.

  • 04

    Venue authenticity

Official venue activity should come from authorized accounts. Verified venue pages and official events help guests distinguish house-run activity from user-created plans.

  • 05

    Not an emergency service

SyncUp is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

03Reports

Reports should move to a clear review path.

Reports help SyncUp protect users, venues, and platform integrity. Child-safety concerns can also be sent directly to support.
