Child safety is non-negotiable.

SyncUp is intended only for adults 21+. Child sexual abuse and exploitation, CSAM, grooming, trafficking, or content that endangers minors is prohibited everywhere in the service.

01Standards

Prohibited conduct is clear.

The standards below summarize the child-safety language already present in SyncUp's Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and Terms.

01Child safety

No exploitation or endangerment

SyncUp strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation, CSAM, grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualization of minors, or any content or conduct that exploits, harms, endangers, or targets minors.

02Child safety

No unsafe minor involvement

Because SyncUp is a 21+ service, any attempt to involve minors in SyncUp activity, nightlife activity, sexual content, unsafe meetups, or alcohol-related content is prohibited.

Evidence can be preserved

SyncUp may remove content, permanently ban accounts, preserve evidence, and disclose information when needed to respond to child-safety concerns.

Escalation to authorities

Suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, trafficking, or child endangerment may be reported to law enforcement, NCMEC, or other appropriate authorities as required or permitted by law.

Report concerns immediately.

Child-safety concerns can be reported inside SyncUp or sent directly to support@syncuptechnologies.com.

Include enough information for SyncUp to identify the relevant account, content, message, event, plan, check-in, venue page, or link. Do not forward or reshare CSAM. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
