Rights and requests

Make a privacy request.

Contact us for access, correction, a copy or export, deletion, help with privacy choices, or an appeal of a denied privacy request. You can submit a request without creating a new account. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Send your request by email

Send to privacy@syncuptechnologies.com with the subject SyncUp Privacy Request. You may use your own email service. Opening the email link or reading this page does not submit a request; you must send the email. You do not need to create a SyncUp account.

Information to include

  • Your name or authorized representative name
  • Reply email
  • Access, correction, export, deletion, opt-out, or privacy appeal
  • Account email or handle, if available
  • What you are requesting; for an appeal, identify the decision you want reviewed

Verification and agents

We use reasonable checks to verify identity or authority before disclosing, changing, or deleting personal data. An authorized agent should identify the person represented and provide appropriate authorization; we may also confirm the request with that person. Do not email passwords, verification codes, payment details, or identity-document images. We will explain a secure next step if additional verification is necessary.

Response timing

We respond to privacy requests without undue delay, generally within 45 days of receipt. If a permitted extension is reasonably necessary, we notify you within that initial period with the reason and applicable extended deadline; our standard extension is no more than an additional 45 days. Shorter deadlines or other requirements under applicable law control. A legal hold or other lawful exception may limit particular data, but does not remove our obligation to respond.

Privacy appeals

If we deny a request, we explain the reason and how to appeal. Email privacy@syncuptechnologies.com with the subject SyncUp Privacy Request Appeal and identify the decision and why you believe it should be reconsidered. We respond to an appeal in writing within 60 days, or sooner when applicable law requires. If denied, we explain applicable options for contacting a regulator, including the Texas Attorney General for covered Texas requests. Privacy-request appeals are separate from content moderation appeals.

Fair treatment and available data

We do not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. We provide responses free of charge where required by law; any lawful fee or refusal for excessive requests will be explained. Some information may be excluded to protect other people, security, privileged records, or other lawful interests. A data export may need a supplement for providers and media; we review scope before treating a response as complete.
