SyncUp Community Guidelines
Community rules for user safety, nightlife coordination, venue content, and platform integrity.
1. Overview and purpose
SyncUp is a nightlife discovery and social coordination platform designed to help adults discover bars and venues, coordinate plans with friends, check in, create and join events, message, comment, vote in polls, and interact with venue-related content. These Community Guidelines apply to all activity on SyncUp, including profiles, bios, photos, check-ins, plans, user-created events, official venue events, comments, direct messages, polls, ratings, invites, reports, and any other content or conduct connected to the service.
By using SyncUp, you agree to follow these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. We may remove content, limit visibility, restrict features, suspend accounts, permanently ban accounts, or take other action when we believe it is necessary to protect users, venues, our community, or the integrity of the platform.
2. Age requirement: 21+ only
SyncUp is intended only for users who are 21 years of age or older. You may not create an account, access the service, post content, attend or join plans/events through SyncUp, or participate in SyncUp if you are under 21.
Do not misrepresent your age or identity.

Do not create, promote, or participate in underage nightlife activity through SyncUp.

6. Child safety, CSAE, and CSAM
SyncUp strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any content or conduct that exploits, sexualizes, harms, endangers, or targets minors. Although SyncUp is a 21+ service, this rule applies everywhere in the Service, including profiles, messages, comments, check-ins, plans, events, photos, venue content, and external links.
Do not upload, share, request, solicit, threaten to share, or link to CSAM or exploitative sexual content involving minors.
Do not use SyncUp to groom, lure, coerce, blackmail, traffic, exploit, endanger, or facilitate contact with minors for sexual or unsafe purposes.
